Games on XP? My tastes are a bit different from the rest, but focusing on multiplayer number 1 of course is Quake Wars, it's the best game ever made...

2- SRB2 (If a Sonic fan that is) / 3- SRB2 Kart (Great times especially using Hamachi)/ 4- Quake II / 5- Jedi Academy (if star wars fan)/6- Outlive (If you like RTS)/ 7- Bid for Power (Dragon Ball mod for Q3A)/ 8- Half Life 1.5/ 9- Vantage Master (for RPG Strategy)/ 10- PSOBB (of couse there're much more what I play personally, but the ones I mentioned might be good enough for the multiplayer category

10. Deus Ex, 9. FEAR, 8. Far Cry, 7. Return to Castle Wolfenstein, 6. MechWarrior 3 and 4 (with their expansions and MekPak 3.1 mod for Mech4 Mercs), 5. Star Wars - Republic Commando, 5. SWAT 4, 4. Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2 (Double Helix), 3. Max Payne 1 and 2, 2. Battlefield 1918, and 1. Operation Flashpoint - Cold War Assault. There's plenty more, but I've limited it to FPS games.
