I did not use XFire back in the day, and had only heard of it in passing until today, but wow it is so cool to see this piece of mid 2000s history brought back to life! Despite being only 26 years old, I have always loved old video games and tech. I grew up playing lots of Unreal Tournament 2004, Quake III Arena/Live, Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force, and other similar games. Seeing a community built around this era of gaming is so cool!
Last year I released a feature length documentary on BAWLS Guarana which for those that don't remember was a high caffeine soft drink staple of LAN Parties in the 2000s!
