Right after releasing The Achilles Archive on December 4, 2025, I began testing it as a user to ensure popular games worked properly. That process is now complete.

I installed and tested 1,300+ games, fixing issues as they came up, replacing broken packages, removing some titles, and adding new ones. Many games, like Battlefield 2142, are now playable on XP for the first time in years, and others finally have stable configs after years of tinkering. I also wrote clear instructions for hundreds of games.

Fewer than 50 games remain broken; they've been separated for future fixes. A bounty system will be announced soon, offering rewards for making these games work on XP, along with a dedicated download section for them.

After working on this daily since March 2025, I'm taking a break. For version 2.0, I plan to add alternatives to Soulseek (while keeping it as an option).
