A New Public Game Event Scheduler Has Just Arrived on the Scene

Less than a week ago, a new and totally independent service sprung up seemingly from out of nowhere called GameDate. It's a game event scheduler and announcer that will publicly broadcast a meetup announcement (and instructions if necessary) of the game of your choice and allow for people to vote on their interest in participating in the event. People can declare (anonymously too) that they don't intend on showing up, might be attending, or are definitely attending.
It is completely anonymous service and has no ties to any company. There are no advertisements on the website and is very snappy on Windows XP through MyPal. It actually is designed to look like the original 2004 Steam user interface.
This seems to be a self-funded service made for retro gamers by retro gamers. It's quite apparent, however, that games - new and old alike - are supported. Everyone can use this.
GameDate seems to scrape metadata on any game you type into the search bar. Games will pop up, usually with a game icon and some basic information about the game - all within a few seconds of typing into the search bar.
Upcoming game events are displayed on the right side of the front page and you can scroll up and down to see if there are any games that interests you.
There's also a comments section that, as you can guess - you can post messages anonymously. You can connect this to your Discord or Steam, but since we're XP gamers and on Xfire, those aren't too relevant to us. Unfortunately, there are no other options to link up profiles, but that may change in time.
The biggest issue with GameDate at the moment is the lack of a user base. It's still a fledgling community, which is why this post is important. The more people that know about and use GameDate, the better the representation for all of multiplayer gaming.
As it stands, I wouldn't depend on GameDate to revive a completely obscure game that would have zero people online otherwise, because it's quite a random bunch of users one week in. However, if GameDate gets traction on YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and the other corners of the web, then who is to say what this website will look like in a couple years?
I encourage you, reader, to spread the word about GameDate. The more users there are on the service, the better the representation across all of the gaming spectrum.
