I just noticed that a ton of people don't use xF1re after 1-4 months since their register on here
While yes, I do show up as being last online over 2 months ago, I use the website part of the service, but it still bums me out that people drop this place quite quickly
I guess it's for the die-hard xf1ires i guess.

Japan and the absence of Fair Use there

I don't log on here much because of complexities of life I am experiencing right now, but decided to get on here this time.
Compared to something like America, Japan(and a few other countries I might add) lacks any Fair Use doctrine and runs specifically on the premise of protecting intellectual properties and works.
For someone to be able to use something they must ask the studio or creator(s) for permission to use their specific work for something, even if the property or work hasn't been sold or mentioned by a company for many years or decades and not doing so means you're breaking the law.
What's crazy is how the "protection of works" is applied to many other things, like you having to follow strict rules if you were to post something about the game or if you want to use a certain things like images and all that stuff.
What are your thoughts?

I noticed my Miniprofile's avatar hasn't updated in a long while, it still loads other stuff just fine like username changes and games, but the avatar is still the same one I had a month ago, did something break related to it?

This entire thing makes communication with people on the opposite side of the earth(for example, Russian person and American person trying to talk) so worse, especially if they have jobs or studies, which makes it practically impossible or close to nothing
Am I the only one with this problem or is it with a lot of people? Also sacrificing sleep to talk with someone really sucks bollox

Bricked my PS3

I had a 3.15 DEX install on it(orig. CEX), tried to update it through ProDG TMAPI up to 4.81 DEX but I realized it's a bad idea at the end when it showed the flashing screen, now I have a borked PS3 that is not willing to do anything
Gonna have to wait until I have money for an E3 NOR Flasher and some kind of soldering kit, then hopefully someone can get a 3.15 DEX valid dump(or maybe a 4.81 DEX) of their NOR for me to try and transplant into my unfinished flash

why i will never use discord ever again

Discord is and was a corporate company ever since it's foundation, it's mentions of there not being good ways of playing games and chatting with friends at the same time was a gigantic lie that boosted their reputation as "best serviz" alongside their funny initiative of getting people onto their service
Now they suck more because for one, it will force ID verification on people, so don't you be fucking faking that ID's or using a real ID which is invalid by international law and for two, they have the worst support ever, and third, which is my final reason, is that it's the largest black hole of information to ever exist
Like seriously, if Discord shuts down, hundreds of millions of messages that could be technical fixes, guides, videos, etc. will be lost because you trusted it to put everything on there
I wouldn't be sad about it, honestly.
